Way less than often. I try to take very good care of my clothes. I have good hygiene anyway, and I don't sweat easily, and don't have any kind of odor either, so that's a plus.

I've stopped using the dryer recently, though. Just air drying from now on.
The only things I wash regularly are my underwear, and bed-sheets/pillow covers (not good for your skin when dirty).

Undershirts, underwear, socks: Always
Gym clothes: Most of the time
Normal shirts and pants: After maybe 3 or 4 wears
Jeans: rarely
Wool shit: Once around New Years, once before I put them away in spring

Depends.
>Underwear
after 1 wear
>socks
dito
>dress shirts
1 wear in summer or when worn without an undershirt, 2 wears in winter
>woolen knits
about 2 washes per year
>jeans et al.
About every second month, or when I got them dirty or sweaty

>>10130223
>I've stopped using the dryer recently, though. Just air drying from now on.
This!
Driers (especially small and cheap ones) are quite the killers.
All that fluffy stuff you find in the filter after every drying run? Its all fibers that got removed from your precious clothing.
>tfw you only have a small apartment with no real option to line dry, and are forced to use a dryer.
Also, unless needed, use low (30 or 40°) temps, gentle/delicate cicle and good, low dosed detergent.
You know the shitty H&M shirts that according to /fa/ lore fall apart after the first wash or two? I have some that are now over 4 years old, and still are just as shitty as they have been when new!

>The only things I wash regularly are my underwear, and bed-sheets/pillow covers (not good for your skin when dirty).
That reminds me: I really gotta wash my sheets more often, especially now that it is friggin hot.
BTW, how the hell do I remove the stains from lube?

as long as you have the AC or Heat on the clothes will dry relatively quickly

Yes. And the moisture goes were?

And heating up the room, and then venting out all the moisture plus all the warmth is less efficient than a dryer.

In summer its OK, but in winter I have to use the fucking dryer. Luckily I mostly wear woolens, so I dont have to wash and dry that often.

me too, but apart from jeans, I never had this issue, apart from some 10y+ T-shirts that I use for climbing and other outdoor stuff, that are now faded by UV exposure.
And the jeans I only wash as seldom as possible and on wool-cycle

AC and Heat air is pretty much dry and will absorb the moisture out of anything that's wet or damp
Try it out, if you have the AC/Heat on leave a glass of water near one of the vents overnight (this also helps your mouth from getting dry or getting flaky skin.)

Are we talking about industrial AC/heating/venting systems?
Then yes, you are right.
But normal, bolt on AC or normal heating?
>AC and Heat air is pretty much dry and will absorb the moisture out of anything that's wet or damp
Yes, it will. Now your clothing is dry, and your air is moist. But that moisture wont simply stay in your air forever. So you either vent out your moist, hot air (and loose a lot of energy/money with it) or the moisture will find a cold surface somewhere, to condense (walls, windowsills). Now you got a nice, wet spot for farming mold.

Funny you say that because I technically DO shower my ass every time I shit.
I have this spray hooked up to my toilet and it pierces your asshole clean from any shit, and then you wipe clean.

My religion requires that my ass is clean as well.
So yeah, I don't change undies as often as you because I don't have poo flakes stuck in my butt. :^)

I love those shitty tees. I bought about six when our Chef let us start wearing t-shirts on shift, due to it being hotter than a normal kitchen. None have died. A few have disappeared, but the ones I still have are in great shape, and this is after 3-4 years of sweat and grease on a near daily basis.

I have a washer in the flat I share with my partner. I wash when needed.
