I'm about to finally get a proper leather wallet, but I normally keep my keys and wallet in the same pocket. Will they scratch the hell out of my wallet or will it be fine?

Also, what do you think about front pocket versus back pocket? I've always kept my wallet and phone up front cause I don't like having things in my back pockets but it makes the front pockets look pretty bulky, which is not terribly fashionable.

How so?

I just got it because other wallets were always too big. I don't carry cash and only use three cards, including my ID.

I'm working on eliminating my wallet altogether. With the steady increase of touch-to-pay registers (INB4 security), all we need now is for our ID's to be soley in a database (they already are, there isn't much reason to carry one now. If people weren't so afraid of hurr durr muh mark of the beast, we could just scan our biometrics for alcohol/other times when ID is needed).

Really, at some point, I'd like to carry only a pen, a flashlight, and a knife. I long for the day when the phone doesn't have to be some junk I carry in my hand. They just made a breakthrough with being able to wirelessly manipulate signals in the brain. It shouldn't be too long before you can wear a minimalist looking bracelet that can just give send you a HUD and audio. This would be better than an implant, but you're still going to have nuts complaining about mind control and junk...
