I think with the eyebrow and beard adjustments youll be at the best looking you possibly can. I do not think that losing weight will make you look any better, your main thing is your weak jaw/chin. If you want to look better in pics, you're going to have to start learning some whore angles. Yeah, that's my situation aswell. The best I've managed to do so far is a really compact style, with really strong wax. I've had the most luck with American Crew Grooming Cream, but even that won't hold for more than an hour or two.

For me, it has been about a year and a half with a few small haircuts (no longer than two inches off all around) to proper shape and thin it out. Bare in mind my hair is quite damaged from dying it time and time again, but I have let the regrowth come through ("oMg you're Kurt Cobain") and my virgin, undamaged hair is growing at a faster pace. Good luck if you're planning on doing the same!
