All the best washed / distressed brands use selvage denim anyway. The only reason /fa/ hates on it is because the board has an unhealthy love for Acne denim, which is total shit.

ur welcome
also if you're looking for "cheap" but good jeans (imo) Lucky Brand is great. Not a lot of peeps on /fa/ will approve though. Don't buy them at a mall department store they are a lot shittier

Go to the real store to get legit ones

also Levi 511s are actually OK if you're not expecting much other than classic fades

Acne is on the expensive side and are pretty good but I DONT recommend the ace fit if you don't want skinnies, max is good

They are alright. I'd say they are no better or worse than Levi's but the cut seems better to me, just because I prefer a lower rise as to not emphasize my hips. Levi's are shit in that regard.

Their regular jeans aren't very nice, but their selvedge line is pretty pretty good. I was just comparing a pair with a $200 cone mills pair and, honestly, they compare very favorably.

I had to buy new jeans because I grew out of my others, and really didn't want to spend all that money again when i don't know if they'll fit in a year.

Uniqlo was selling their last season's selvedge jeans for fucking 15 dollars each (at GSP if anyone is interested). They're not quite as nice as jeans that cost >$150, but fuck it, you literally can't find anything better at that price.

Those are light wash APC Petit New Standards.

Jeans can be as long (or short) as you want them. Your true inseam is when your jeans are just above the ground when standing barefoot, this is where most people like to wear them. I personally prefer no break for a cleaner, straighter silhouette around my legs.

In any case you can just cuff/hem them if they're too long for your preference, better to get them too long than too short.

Yeah and baggy knees. I mean, they're already size 26. Any smaller and they wouldn't fit. Plus the legs fit perfectly, it's just the ass and knees that wear in after a while. I mean, they were cheap.

5'8 manlet, 130 lbs. I usually wear a 28 but these are super elastic so I can fit into the 26.
