The answer is wrong, the real answer is infinite.

The fabric is likely to contains thousands, if not millions of microscopic holes depending on the material use to make t-shirt, cotton. The molecules that make up the shirt contains holes between the each individual atom that make up the molecule, the atoms have holes between the nucleus and the elections. Then there could be holes between the stuff than make up the electrons, newtons and protons. Then there could be gaps between the strings that make up those, if string theory is correct of cause.

So infinite is the answer.
