What is up with that weather icon? Dat teletubbie sun.

Clock doesn't match with the style of the icons.
Icons have rounded corners, are soft and appear playful. Clock is cold and minimal

X at the bottom is thinner than the rest of the icons
Go bold or thin out everything

Do you think we should be matching the overall wallpaper color with the phone's exterior? For example, getting a blue wallpaper on a blue phone. Or getting some vibrant red on the Red Nexus 5?

Empty spaces - Spacer Tiles
'Social' - Group Tile
Some of the tiles aren't transparent by default, you'll have to install Transparency Tiles
Just find a good wallpaper and you're set
I'd also suggest waiting until Windows 10 Mobile comes out before buying any Windows phone
