where can I get some jeans that have selvedge lining but aren't raw? I don't like fading, hate bleeding and don't want to deal with any special washing but I love the appearance of selvedge denim. 30x34 waist

help

oh also fit preferably similar to levi's 511s or jcrew 484 chinos

Barbour do some nice selvedge jeans and have a few different cuts.
Would recommend trying on though as they can have a pretty low rise.

APC have done in the past, I'm not sure if they still do.

I'm not sure but levis made and crafted have as well

Pretty sure they still do, you must be talking about the Butler program.

They're actually old jeans that people bring back to an APC store, they wash them and resell them for a high price, and you have faded selvedge denim in any of the cuts that they normally offer.

I think they also do faded jeans "off the rack", which are more expensive than the raws but less than the butlers

What cut is better Petite Standard or Petite New Standard?

>> No.10024356

>>10024341
pns combines the tapered legs of petite standard + wider thighs area of new standard so depends on ur build

Also could I just take cheaper raw jeans (from Unbranded) and wash them as soon as I get them or would that not work

Will they shrink a lot though? What size should I order in? And how should I wash them?

>Will they shrink a lot though? What size should I order in?
Depends on the brand of the jeans and cut of the jeans. Most raw denim companies have size measurement charts for their jeans so just measure your best fitting jeans with a tape measure and compare them to the measurements of the jeans. Or just go and try a lot on in a place like Nordstrom.
>And how should I wash them?
Inside out in cold water. You can soak them in the tub to get rid of extra dye before you put them in the washer if you want. They are honestly just jeans. Don't think too hard about it.
