another advantage is the resale value: even if i drop my phone from my apartment window and completely fuck it up, i can just list it on ebay "for parts" and get 90% of my money back

i used to use those $15 black and white nokias in middle school and yeah, they're effay and all that

it's a relatively recent flagship phone as i'm sure as you know, and obviously it'll run fine

my post was more of a comparison between different operating systems; apple's flagship probably runs just as smoothly as samsung's, yet it probably has lower specs

reason being that its firmware and chipsets are developed in-house and are optimized to take full advantage of the hardware, whereas android is a huge resource whore

that being said I replaced my Moto X for a iPhone 6, but I miss big screens so I might go for a Nexus 6 + Moto 360 combo, iPhone 6+ or Note Edge(korean shit)

what's the point of the "edge" on the note edge though?

it seems to me it has very little uses:
-if you want to use it for buttons for apps/games, you could just place the buttons on screen
-if you use it to show the time while the phone is lying down, you could just pick up the phone

i haven't looked much into it though, but it seems like one of samsung's more "gimmicky" phones just to draw attention to the brand (eg the curved screen one), rather than for widespread consumer usage (eg the S6)

Iphone are very good
it runs fast and the camera is way better than any other device.
I was coming from an iphone and i really tried hard to buy an android phone, i tried a LG G2, G3, HTC M8 and SONY xperia Z3c.
They were all ok but none of them was better than an iphone especially considering the camera and screen.
I have now an iphone 6 and it's a good device even if it's expensive.
