/vr/ here. Now I'm your typical neck beard who wears black logo tees and skinny jeans with chucks. I am not /fa/ at all.

HOWEVER,

These fucking face masks. I was fine during quarantine but seeing everybody wearing these really made me think about finding a better solution. A more FASHIONABLE solution. I saw Johnny Depp wearing a hanky like some wild west bank robber. I tried it and ended up looking like an Emo kid from the MySpace era.

I checked the catalog but did find any threads on it. So to end this preamble ...

Can /fa/ post some face covering/face masks that are /fa/ approved?

He's not wrong though, they don't prevent you from catching Coronavirus, they prevent other people from catching coronavirus from you, especially if everyone is wearing a mask.

the "they're for protecting others, not you" talking point is accurate for cloth masks, but even just a surgical mask protects the wearer considerably. of course even that is more effective when it's worn by an infected person, but a noninfected person wearing a surgical masks is protecting themselves considerably
