The biker/perfecto jacket is a staple, and has been for decades. Find one that mostly fits off the rack, but is a little big around the waist and get your tailor to bring it in a little. You can usually find this sort of shit in a motorcycle apparel store. The quality:price ratio will be better than what you get from fashionable brands, but they're always going to need alterations.

As >>9991302 mentioned, All Saints designs a lot of their styles with price point in mind, so they do a ton of textile jackets and Perfectos are always a large part of their offering. Otherwise, Horace has actually made unusual fabric versions a signature, though they are very stylized. Haven't seen one lately, but Plokhov's been doing tons of takes on moto/Perfecto jackets at Helmut Lang, so I wouldn't be surprised if they issue a fabric version soon. They do a lot of their leather outerwear in textiles as well.

If anything else comes to mind, I'll try to leave a note here.

Oh, Diesel Black Gold's been putting out solid fabric jackets for a while now, though they're a bit under-rated and some styles can be a bit gaudy. But between the increased emphasis on tailoring and their usual emphasis on denim means they do a lot of contemporary styles in less expensive materials.

OP here. I found a perfecto very similar to the one in the OP on the right, in a second hand shop today for $169, so I bought it. Feels great.

BTW I was searching online for perfecto leather jackets, gooks and fat people look TERRIBLE in this jacket. It can only be pulled off by very skinny/lean men and skinny women. Thank God I'm a skinny White male. The guy on the right is wearing it better than anyone in any other pic.
