What's a great haircut for a long oval face?

One thing that bugs me about no poo is how often do you put product in your hair? Wouldn't the build up get really nasty?

I've done nopoo + product in the past, but it takes quite a bit of effort to maintain, especially if you have long-ish hair like I do. If you fail and do fall victim to mass build up, it can be a total bitch to clean out, as I found out the hard way. Nowadays I don't use product except on special occasions when I want my hair looking super-neat. Otherwise, I try to get my hair in the desired style/ texture using other methods.

My advice would be to avoid products that are too gummy/gunky, as well as products so strong that they are practically superglue for hair. Use it sparingly, and learn to rinse properly. Pretty vague, I know. Sorry.

I say grow it out now since you have the hair, and legit just spend a good while in your bathroom styling it in the mirror and messing with it until you find something that looks good all around.
