ADYN's current collection seems pretty relevant to most other streetwear brands, they are doing some new things. If anything a lot of brands are copying ADYN or trying to produce their aesthetic at a cheaper price point.

As for your dark green/brown comment... that's not all earth tones are moron. Earth tones can be anything from sandy tans and ivories, deep reds and burgundies, olive greens, beige all the way to charcoal. Its more than dark green and brown lmao.

Noticed that too. I'll always remember how ADYN were doing the kind of pieces Represent are putting out now in cheap quality back when Represent had their ghost collection with huge branding, british flags everywhere and had those awful red/black plaid shirts.
I also always wonder if those guys know each other in real life. Manchester and London isn't really that far apart and it's hard not to notice how Represent ripped early ADYN stuff.

Different aesthetic and materials. Kapital is focused almost exclusively on workwear and distressing in natural fabrics. White Mountaineering gets into streetwear and uses some technical fabrics.

I just feel like waywts are going to shit even more than usual, all mnmlsm and layers for no good reason, as if someone saw a rick show and tried to emulate it with the basics they could find in their closets. In reality the board has always been doomed. After all it's 4chan, known to be an internet cesspool of teenagers, sperglords, hate for the hell of it, and other such wankery. Any boards on this site are bound to attract some variety of idiots.

People who actually want to discuss fashion will go to fashion-specific websites or, better still, become involved in the industry and interact with people in real life.

I guess the reason I still hang around here is that I like to help people. It's easy to see that lots of the posters here are just new to fashion and need help/guidance. Sure that means many of the threads are silly questions that belong in fuccboi general, but if no one helps these people it'll just get worse. To that end I lurk around, answer questions as best I can, and post in the few good threads. Inspo threads still have some gems and there are still a few people here open to a higher level of discourse. /fa/ is basically just a time waster for me, but I still have a soft spot for it.

I don't actually have any way to rebuff the reality of fa's state and stagnation, but we had too many decent years where legitimate discussion happened. It wasn't the entire board, but it wasn't the fraction it is now, and there was plenty of time for /b/ and such to stumble in and try to shitpost it to hell.
I don't really know what I'm trying to say, I'm just kind of depressed that recent cops, b/s/t, inspo if it has discussion, and random arbitrary actual fashion-centric topics are the only semi decent threads amidst a hell of "is this fa", "what face shape, in a new thread for no reason, and this time for sunglasses", or other random shit.
I don't know why I hang around, I just can't make myself leave. I feel like what you're doing is just the cover-up, they're asking questions in droves because there's nothing to lurk and learn from.

The board and 4chan in general has just gotten so old that the people initially invested in it have moved on.

Bitch about it all you want but if you want to see a change, be it. You can hide threads you don't like, although that's only improving your own experience, or you can direct people to the proper threads, offer to update the sticky, or make new and interesting fashion related threads. Most of the time when I make a decent thread people are appreciative and it only takes one or two interested people to make a thread worthwhile.

I know I sound preachy, but I'd much rather have people like fascist faggot dropping knowledge when he can than see the board devolve completely into a mess of face rate general and /fa/ phone screen threads.

Funny story when I was in london I went to dsm and in the cafe at the top floor the walid guy was having a coffee and I said hi and that I like his work.

A lot of the fabrics he uses are really neat. I can't say much about the fit or anything else's besides that the garments are decorated quite beautifully.
