I have a pullover windbreaker that could stand being slimmed down, so I'd be interested in a tutorial for this. Might also add some features too since it was a $3 goodwill cop, but this would be a good start for modifying it.

made a block for pants from my own measurements
sewed it up in muslin
gonna sew it in denim and suiting fabric soon

>>9948425
(always done in half, like left front, right front, etc)
find the center of your body
get your neck measurement from there
shoulder measurement
top of armhole, middle of armhole, and bottom of armhole (to side measurement)
get the shape of your body down the side until you reached a length you like

do the same to your back

upper thigh is too wide for that slim taper that it makes it look terrible. Try to make the taper a straight line from crotch to hem on inseam and straight along outer seam. This way it looks like they were actually tailored for your measurements.

you're supposed to taper from the knee to the hem
the shape would look different had i used denim or some other twill

lmao I did it really stupidly but the jacket was cheap didn't have that many layers so I didn't care.

I flipped it inside out, laid a better fitting jacket over it, pinned it, sewed, and finished off the seams so the fabric wouldn't come apart on the inside.

it would have been more professional if I took the jacket apart by the sleeves and sewn it so the seams were hidden, but I don't care enough to do that.

I might do a picture tutorial next time if I find any other large jackets.

I mean it was just to experiment, so sort of. I just took advantage of that and wanted to use less common textiles. The carbon fiber was a bitch to sew through in general, plus it was all heat-sealed to nylon. Same thing with the gold/silver fabric - it's space blanket heat-sealed to nylon. I didn't really make the two right looks with much real wearability in mind - but the left two I think are pretty easily wearable. Also, I quilted all the leather myself. It's satin on the back side with a poly fill in the middle.

ehhh looks like cosplay. I like the jacket on the fafr left.

its obv futuristic but maybe you should just take normal clothes and accent them with futuristic parts.

Look at like 3m jackets and shit like that. They use really cool materials but on normal silhouettes.

Like you need to make back to the future core a thing ya dig?

I can post some cool shit cuz future stuff is what im interested in too

got a very light stain on a white cable knit sweater.
should i attempt to dye some kind of light pattern into it to blend the stain in?
i was thinking just some kind of off white pattern,
like pic related but with like, tea and coffee for light/dark stains.
what do you guys think?

I was inspired by Tigran Avetisyan ss14, so i want to take a denim jacket and roughly paint it black like you would with a big brush. What kind kind of paint would i need for this, so that it won't chip or peel of?
