Avoid clothing with random bullshit like "california surf team '94" written on it altogether, it's basically a telltale sign of not giving a fuck about what you're wearing, go for a plain one without anything on it, a well fitted dark grey hoodie can look pretty good.
I can't see much of your pants, but they seem to be too big as well, need a better pic for judgement though.

As another member said, the sleeves are too short and the hoodie looks tacky. In general, graphic t's/hoodies look bad and you'res is no exception (the cut is really bad too, look at the shoulder seams), almost looks DIY.

pants are kinda cool but they need to be hemmed + tapered badly. Baggy pants went out of style a few years ago, and the pockets on the side make you look like a teenager.

The shoes could be cool with some other outfit, but when you pair it with those two items they just look really bad. The color scheme is way off too, not sure why you decided to mix the blue/grey on the shoes when it plays off of no other colors in you're outfit.

don't throw it out, you can always use it for a #TBT fit' for when you learn a bit more about the basics. Just keep it somewhere in storage.

Those are both pretty expensive shoes for somebody just starting out, you can make most outfits work with basic converse all stars, no need to shell out bank for your first good items. Personally, most of my stuff I get for really really cheap at thrift stores or h&m sales (also great for basics).

It's not really hoodie season but reigning champ is really good quality.
