Daily reminder that La Nuit de L'Homme is the best fragance you can buy, it's fucking lovely and sexy.

Girls from every age range love it, more than 10 different girs i've been fell in love with it.

Everyone from 8 years old to 99+ will compliment you for smelling so fucking good.

But, I don't think 1M is intrinsically so bad out of its context, although it's not great. I love the scent but it's got a few problems. At one pump, there's too little cologne, and it can barely be smelled. At two pumps, however, it's too strong, and smells overpowering for a little while.

None of this is that big of a problem, because the scent becomes extremely weak after a couple hours.

idk about that
1 ml=10 sprays avg.
3.3 oz= 100 ml
100 ml=1000 sprays
1000 sprays/3 sprays avg per day=333 days

so i'd say 3.3 oz lasts about a year of daily, continuous use

of course nobody does this and most frag people use rotations, so a bottle might last a 5-10 years (unless it goes bad, which has fortunately never happened to me but supposedly happens after 3 years by conventional knowledge)

That's a bold assumption upon which all your extrapolation is done.

Theory vs. practice. About 3 months of daily use took me half a bottle marked at 30ml. Number of sprays is a secondary measure. It's safer to extrapolate from a measured 15ml out to 100ml than it is from an estimated 1ml out to 100.

Not that it really matters though. Sprayers vary, performance varies, so you'll need more or fewer sprays of different products. 1 year is probably a good estimate for something like Eau Sauvage Cologne, which has 'subtle' performance, and a howitzer sprayer.

Remember that the tester you have might not be the same pump size as the tester, so that might make a difference. Try testing it at a Sephora, if you can. The Replica fragrances have a non-standard pump and deliver a bit more than the average atomizer. All of the Replica frags are EDTs so they don't tend to last long. A larger delivery works well for them.

You should definitely get it if it interacts well with your body chemistry. I liked it so much on paper but it was just too boozy on my skin.

if you were sneezing it could be that you're allergic to one of its components. it's very common for example with peppery fragrances, at least for people who are allergic to pepper. since HM is quite complex it's very likely that one of the ingredients is triggering an allergic reaction in you. but then again, i'm not a fucking scientist, just guessing. never had a problem with this fragrance myself, in fact i always recommend it to people who are looking for a cheap but unique and good unisex scent

Don't get me wrong, I think La Nuit smells nice. (Not a fan of TdH) but if you are in this thread, it gets old pretty quick, especially since there are a lot more night fragrances that deviate from the "super sweet" formula. (Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum for example is something I've been meaning to try that I have a sample still sitting in my cabinet. A lot darker and warmer)

It isn't so much that anybody hates it, just "holy fucking shit we know." Also, at least when it comes to a fragrance, being a special flower is pretty nice.

Prior to that I was wearing Noir de Noir.

I tend to go for the more feminine scents, it plays nicely with me.

Noble Leather smelled good for the first month and then it started reacting badly with my skin and smelled off. Almost sour.

It's too warm for Noir de Noir.

That's only in the samples that come in those little plastic bubbles, and they are usually only 0.2 mL in volume.

Pretty sure that guy is referring to the samples you get from, e.g., Luckyscent, because he mentions the dipstick. These are about 4-5x larger.

There are tons of scents that are woody or tobacco-y that aren't heavy. It just means don't let them be one of the dominant tones.

D&G Pour Homme has light tobacco notes, but it also has a hint of citrus and sweetness that makes it light enough for warmer weather. (Also one of my favorites)

Anyways, I think a lot of it just depends on price range as well as style.

Hey guys I'm pretty new to fragrances and was wondering if you guys could help me recommend some things for me.

I would describe myself as pretty masculine in how I like to look and carry myself.

I tried on some La Nuit de L'homme, it smelled really, really pleasant after the initial drying period, but I wasn't sure if it was "me" I asked my date and she said the same thing, it smelled good but she wasn't sure if it was "me."

So what would you guys recommend? I've heard some good things about Bleu De channel so I might grab a bottle, it smelled pretty good when I tried it on.

Also, do you guys usually get the smaller bottle or pay the extra $20 or something to get the larger bottle that's twice as large?

>> No.9926455

i have a p chill style and demeanor, what kind of fragrances should i be looking for? thanks

>> No.9926497

>>9926449
tbh I've bought the bigger bottle of Bleu in Parfum (still waiting on it) but you can usually just get the smaller bottle and have it last a fuck long time. Then you can put the 20 bucks towards something else like a new fragrance to alternate between.

As far as fragrances, just lurk and make a list of things that sound interesting and order a bunch of samples if you can not find them in store.

Bleu is great. Try the parfum version though, it is a lot richer and more interesting.

tbh chanel has a lot of my favorite fragrances now that I've sampled more than their old people shit. Bleu is good, and allure homme and allure edition blanche are both excellent.

I don't think so. I like the EdT, and it is most certainly lighter, but I think the EdP has so much more character. Like, the EdT is very just "citrusy" with some other things. The EdP has a lot more going for it. Like, there is more to it than just "citrus." I'm not sure if I'm convinced it is light enough for day-to-day wear, although I have been still, but it is an excellent fragrance to have either way.
