The best bars in my opinion are the old 'yellow' taverns (yellow because the walls are yellow due to nicotine). They're found across Copenhagen and indeed Denmark, but I mostly know the inner city, so I'll recommend

All of these are smoke-filled, will serve you a cheap beer and are inhabited by a good mix of bar flies, hipsters and students who try their best to dress like Camus. Most of them will stay open untill 5 in the morning. If you're looking for more trouble after that, find a morning tavern such as Louises on Norrebrogade in Norrebro. That opens at 5 AM.

Sunday is pretentious as shit, and expensive aswell, though it's the best of the clubs in the inner city.
I'd recommend Drone on Norrebrogade in Norrebro - a bit of a rock'n'roll club, but very awesome place with a good vibe and cheap drinks.
Else if you want to party and dance go to the meat packing district - Kodbyen in Vesterbro.
