Just a pair of black Allen Edmonds and I got those at a reduced price.

As a student it's hard to justify paying any more than $250 on anything really. After budgeting how much I spend during the year and what I need to put into savings I really only have about $900 to throw around over the summer. Basically my first week of work and what I have left from the school year make that up.

It's hard trying to get into fashion and guitar pedals at the same time. Either I can get some more out there stuff or I can get an amp. Difficult choices are difficult

The most I've paid for something is maybe around 700 for a jacket (contemporary brand garbage) and about 400 for a pair of boots (Ann Demeulemeester FW2010). The most expensive thing I own is maybe this pair of python Alaïa wedges. They retailed for 1800 Canadian but were on clearance for $120. I've worn them maybe twice. 4 of 5 from the pic:

Frag: $300

>DH reverse collar shirt: $630
>DH MIJ 17.5 raw: $560
>One transaction

SLP low tops: $595

I copped another frag from the same house for $300 just so he would sign it on one side when he was in town promoting a new frag; Aqua Vitae. To my surprise, he also wrote "for (my name)" on the other side which was cool. Needless to say, I brought that bottle (Aqua Vitae) with me for him to sign even though I purchased it a few months prior.

Hermes only makes so many of them each year and puts anybody on a waiting list even if you have the cash to buy them right then and there. There are ways to get around waiting years to get them such as buying through a personal shopper that already have a few spots on the list purchased. Quality-wise, it's fantastic but by no means makes it worth what it costs. Overall it's a prime status symbol.

There's definitely an appeal to letting all of the niggers and poorbois know that I have more money and status than them right off the bat. If I were to dress old money, it would only really appeal to my friends and old dudes at the country club. Everybody spends their money some way and I'm definitely not making my parents go broke any time soon by spending the way that I am. Yves Saint Laurent suit, gifted. Its probably worth nothing now but my dad bought it for $800 back in the day. He used to drop money like nothing, overland coats, Dior, all sorts of stuff. Still my favorite suit though, classic cut, fits amazing.

I regret buying a Diesel leather jacket but I was in high school and didn't know exactly what I wanted. I was taken by the brand name and the quality of the leather was really good (thick and buttery) but the style i don't like.

Live and learn, really analyze what makes something attractive to you. If something doesn't fit the bill, don't buy it because you'll never be satisfied and its just wasted money.
