i think the problem with the term "gay" is that it implies you like guys, which people somehow twist into "all/most guys".

I'm only a casual /fa/g, but I'm bi and don't feel like it affects what I wear everyday or anything. Personally, I wear pretty basic stuff (uni budget), and none of it's really been commented on particularly (me and my friendship groups are all outspoken with each-other). A couple times I've been self-conscious that I might come across as looking a bit feminine or something, and it's come into my mind a few times when, for example, a girl says something like I or the clothes I wear look 'cute', but that's probably more down to my insecurities.

I keep my hair reasonably short and try to tame it because it's curly as fuck, I usually keep clean-shaven or trimmed (and body hair is a bit unappealing to me), wear basic raw jeans and t-shirts, in colder months cardigans and jumpers, basic and nice fitting shirts and a pair of boots (sneakers on nights out and I'll get some desert boots soon for summer).

Also, it's probably obvious but femininity and masculinity aren't specifically attached to sexuality. It's anecdotal, but I know a couple (confirmed) hetero guys that dress and come across as more feminine/subdued masculinity in the way you might label "gay," and likewise a few hetero girls that dress as what people might label "lesbian" -- whatever they're supposed to mean in terms of aesthetics, anyway.
