How the fuck do I deal with a scabby and dry scalp?

A hairdresser told me it was because I don't scrub the scalp enough when I shower and that I should do it everyday to remove dirt and oils. Everytime I go there she does it to me and I'm free of flakes for 3 days, but it always comes back. If I do it at home, less than a day after the flakes are back in full force. I'm starting to think this isn't a solution.

I've tried no poo, anti-fungal shampoos, anti-dandruf shampoos, vinegar, olive oil and scrubing the fuck out of it. Nothing works. Any ideas?

This is kind of a weird question but does anyone know what the best type of brush or comb is for removing loose hairs from your head ? I have thick straight hair and every day I have to spend a stupid amount of time finger combing my hair getting all the loose hairs out. I have tried using a plastic fine tooth comb and a paddle brush that has plastic teeth but they honestly suck for getting anything out and my hands work better. I don't know what to do with my hair. It's thin, but there's an abundance of it to the point where it only appears to be thick and full. I usually get it textured on top and shorter on the sides, for a long time I've just let it have that "messy" look by toweling it and/or running my fingers through it, I rarely put product in it. hair is receding lads, it's quite bad

It's weird though because my hair is really thick and grows really fast. I'm pretty sure that I've always had a high hair line but now it's getting quite high up in the corners. Is this MPB or some kind of vitamin deficiency or something? My grandad (mums side) had thick hair and wasn't bold but his son (my uncle) is 50 and is pretty much bold.

Sister is a hairstylist in Beverly Hills. I get free cuts every 2 weeks. It's not uncommon for people to stop me on the street and compliment my hair.

2. What are some good hair styling products for my curly hair that don't make hair crusty? I wash my hair every other day, and off-days I usually wake up with my hair in a very messy shape that's not easy to put back into place

How would I go about getting my hair like this. Long hair doesn't suit me as my face is square so I keep it short.

When I brush my hair over it's just flat and looks like a comb over with no volume at all.
