Well yeah but the runs = calories burnt. So I've probably halved my intake of food as well as burning an extra 300-400 calories a day. I think it's because I counteracted the eating less over the last weekend by snacking on easter chocolate ha.
Also I'm a type 1 diabetic and know less insulin = less fat stored. The exercise means I've lowered my insulin doses, to as low as 9 units a day, from like 20-30 previously...I'm confident I'll get there!

assuming youre 50 pounds overweight then you probably have really shitty eating habbits and its very hard to go from that to a 800 calorie diet. Youl most likely binge a lot, get depressed and all that shit. I'd suggest eat more and consider excercising more too.

Also lose the hot pockets and junk food shit, eat grains, meat, vegetables etc.

i get that, but i read about these VLCD (very low calorie diets). i didn't consult a doctor or anything, but i at least know that it is *a thing.*

and yeah it's absolute fucking torture reducing calories. but the coffee and tea help, as well as chewing gum. plus understanding that it's all mental, and that my body is fighting me to stay overweight. but i'm at the point now where i can convince myself that losing weight is better than eating taco bell again.

and yeah i eat oatmeal and spinach and whole grain bread to to mix it up.

thanks for the advice. how much do you weigh? how do you stay thin? i exercise, but i literally have no desire to do it more than maybe once a week. like going for a walk or riding my bike or swimming.

The thing about going really low with calories is it's just very hard to adjust to unless you really hate yourself or have really high amounts of motivation. You're going to have to meticulously watch your calories for months and when you put really hard limits on yourself it becomes a massive chore. I tried the same thing at the beginning and quickly realized this isn't going to work out for me. But by all means see what suits you best and go for it. Just try no to binge. That's your number 1 enemy.

Coffee really does help I agree. Also drink a ton of water.

Also excercising really helps in the long run and you really should try to make it a part of your routine. I used to hate it too (I still do sort of), but it's something you're going to gradually get more adjusted to it. try going for HIIT, look up a routine from one of those fitness forums or /fit/. It shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes so as much as you'l hate it, it'l be over pretty quick.

Also just a general tip is, don't push yourself. Losing weight isn't really very difficult just kinda long and boring. You don't need to hurt yourself just be smart and find a routine that works for you. Something that puts you in a (reasonable) calorie deficit and is simple enough so that every day isn't some kind of struggle.
