>> No.9671892

The toes should be able to splay outwards, giving you grip and stability helping you balance.

What are you going to do? Not wear shoes? lmao
Also it doesn't exactly hurt or alter my life in any way.

Here is a foot of a person who has been barefoot their whole life. This is how our species has lived for millions of years and we have evolved with the natural system of walking without shoes.

probably best to get something with a wide toe box. I think they have a newbalance model like that. Nike free is decent as well. The issue is more apparent if you have anything other than narrow feet.

I don't own them. I have nike frees but I have faced much frustration trying to find shoes that are comfortable and still look good. I had newbalance 420 for a while but they are a bit too narrow.

they look a bit ugly from top but that is because they are very functional

>>9672222
I wish I knew... I just want something that fits my foot well, it doesn't even need to be a barefoot style. The problem I have faced is that shoes like the converse try to be very symmetrical with their toe box at the expense of squishing your big toe.

IIRC Stan said in an interview that modern tennis shoes are more advanced and better for playing, but I play tennis in my Stans and I've never had any problems.
