your skin's natural oils protect it, don't strip it of them often. Incorporate oils like jojoba that closely mimic your natural skin oils into a lightweight, fragrance free gel or cream moisturizer at night. It'll make a huge difference b/c your skin dries out easier at night.

it really depends on your skin type and what your skin tolerates in general. You need to experiment a bit.

I use the bath and body shop's aloe gentle facial wash (it contains sodium laureth sulfate so it's not ideal) for cleansing the skin of makeup and CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser for daily cleansing. and CeraVe's Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM for moisturizing. The PM lotion has the ideal texture for combo/normal skin and is very effective. I've been using it for two years now.
