I know what this board's like so I'm not expecting a mature response, but I'm desperate enough to try anyway.

Due to an illness my eyelashes and eyebrows fell off (along with the rest of my hair, naturally). The brows are growing back, and while they're very sparse they're still there so I've managed to go by with just an eyebrow pencil and light brown mascara.

However, I only have a few eyelashes and they're baby fine and barely visible, so I look like a shaved cat.

What's some makeup that I can wear to fix that? I have several job interviews soon and don't really want to look ayy lmao like I do now.

I tried all kinds of eyeliner but it always ends up too thick and emphasises my eyelashlessness because it leaves a lot of space between the liner and the eye.

pls help
thanks in advance

Either buy false eyelashes or learn to tight line your eyeliner.

I know nothing about makeup as I only wear foundation but what I'd do if I was you is wear natural looking falsies (do those exist?) and maybe look at getting one of those expensive wigs made with real hair.

I think this is more /cgl/ related but whatever.

Hopefully you'll get replies more helpful than this one. Good luck!

Get yourself some fake eyelashes - try to find ones with a clear base strip if you want to look natural and not have to rely on wearing thick eyeliner. Practice with them a little bit and you'll be fine.

Also, check out tutorials on tightlining so you have minimal space between the liner and your eye.

Try checking /cgl/ - they usually have a makeup general that isn't specifically for cosplay stuff and full of people who will give you good advice (unlike /fa, which is almost exclusively male and generally incapable of giving mature responses, like you said)

Best of luck!

ask /cgl/

also, just wear some fake eyelashes.

i'm not sure how much it'll help, but tightline with a dark pencil or a gel eyeliner and try not to stab yourself in the eye. if you have a good enough hand, try getting the liner between the lashes
i don't know much about falsies but shorter ones that are made to look wispy are your best bet in looking like you have natural eyelashes
i dislike most false eyelashes because they're weirdly long and thick and look like trash and it's really obvious that you're wearing them
make sure your eyeliner is at least thick enough to hide the false lashes

Line your top eyelid waterline with black pencil eyeliner.

not really maleup related
but I realized my beard and eyebrows grew faster and thicker when I started applying a vit c serum with glycerin

agree with falsies + lining the waterline.

If you can manage it (if it's flattering and you won't get it on your teeth/hands/fingers/face or mangle the application) a bold lipstick will make less makeup on your eyes look like a choice.
