Not that impressive but was going to throw away my beat up old light grey converse. Got some black dye and stained the laces and the plastic toe bit ect with some quick applied shoe polish shit.

buy an embroidery hoop at a craft store, this will keep shit tight while you're pulling the needle through. They will also have fabric with tiny squares in them for easy embroidering, you can get this or just use whatever material you have at home. You probably already have thread but if you don't already, get some with rayon or polyester.

What I did instead was pour it into one of those typical office bins that I had in my room provided by the uni.
