This. It's still a reasonably good looking shoe, and it's cheap. But it's been over done. I'll still wear my OG olive green pair once in a while, but probably won't cop again.

What to cop /fa/? Need a super comfy runner type shoe I can bike in/travel in instead of my vans.

A shoe that is super comfy for walking in might not be very good for bicycling. When on a bike you'll want a sole that doesn't bend too much downwards. It's both uncomfortable and less effective. If you just want to ride to the crocery store and back, or roll slowly down a beach front, the shoes don't matter. But if you're using a bicycle for traveling, even to and from work, you might want to stay away from really light and soft sneakers. Nike's Free-soles for example.

Vans' waffle soles however are pretty nice. I used to stick to a pair of canvas Vans slip-ons and a pair of leather/suede Vans Syndicate Era's for bicycling. Can't even be compared to a soft running shoe.

Depending on what kind of pedals you have, you'll want different types of sole-grooves (whats it called?). For example, if you have clipless mountainbike pedals AND toe caps and a strap, you will definitely want a shoe with a flat sole and as little pattern as possible. With the "spikes" and groove on the pedal, a heavyer sole like on a old Air Max' might grip too good and make it hard to release your foot when you need to. With a pair of Vans you can just slide them right out.
And oposite, if you have a flat pedal with no grooves and no toe cap, you might do better with a sole that has some grooves in it and grabs the pedal better.

Funny. Forgot to mention I always ride in vans. Used to BMX now I ride fixed gear with straps and they always work for me.

I got another pair of vans to beat up but I definitely want some runners/sneakers to travel in when I have to walk long distances.

It's funny, I used to look at people wearing those shoes and I literally never saw a white person wearing them. Now over the past couple years I started noticing more and more white people wearing them.

Today I saw some white grandma-type lady wearing them.

I still wear mine on occasion though.

bruh everyone is either gonna shit on roshes or tell you they're are great. Ive had that exact pair of shoes tho for about a year and I would recommend a different pair of roshes, the materially starts to pile and gets almost fleecy after a while. get just a standard black pair of roshes if you want roshes
