Imo it's really unclear / doubtful that mike brown was innocent and shot while surrendering. At first I thought that was the case but after the Washington post did reconstructions of the events and stuff and I read more preceding and following the trial, it seemed like brown tried to attack the officer. Eric Garner's death seemed a lot more avoidable than brown's, and I'm saying all this as a person who does believe that there is still a lot of racism in the United states and in the police force especially.
