I apologise if this stretches too far from normal threads on this board; however I'm need of a little help.
I am a hikikomori and I haven't bought myself new clothes for almost a year; possibly an entire year now.
Summers coming soon and I want to try and get out more, but I don't have any clothes. Could you guys help me find clothes to wear?
I don't want to go shopping because I can't be around other people; I've been looking at clothes online but I'm so scared to buy anything because I don't want to spend a lot of money on something I may never wear anyway.
I don't know how to dress myself anymore and I need help.

This is a really depressing post.
Focus more on improving your self esteem and confidence before you go out and reinvent yourself with clothes.

I browse /fa/ all the time, despite never leaving the house and having no disposable income.

I only come here to shitpost memes.

I don't really know how, right now clothes that don't make it obvious I'm a hiki might help though.

go to tuxbell and read up a little bit, then start with basics. get safe, neutral clothes that fit you right and that you feel good in. remember that real change only happens gradually over a long stretch of time, and with planning and diligence you can make changes stay. this goes for your wardrobe too; dont splurge in one place and be done with it. buy yourself a few good items, get rid of an equal amount of old clothes. research more, repeat. post in the general threads if you have questions about individual items.

working out helps too. its always the most difficult in the beginning, but eventually youll get more energy after your workouts and start to feel better about yourself. i think that itll help you a lot. see if you can track down the p90x .isos and burn them to a dvd, but dont follow their plan until youre ready. do one of those dvds every other day or so until youre eased into it. then, follow their schedule and meal plan. or you could just lurk /fit/ as well for better advice. good luck, man.

Get a grey hoodie to start with. Maybe two. Get some black pants to match them, or maybe just some cheap jeans, just some regular fit jeans. Maybe get another hoodie in indigo or brown, or maybe your favourite color.
Hoodies and jeans are good for people that want to get out but don't really have confidence. And grey is the ultimate color that doesn't make you stand out. For undershirts just use white shirts.
For shoes you could wear cheap sneakers from HM or some vans.
