the styling is pulled from old german bauhaus design, which unfortunately means that your two options are semi-expensive (think $350+) german made watches, or cheap chinese watches that pulled their designs from the german watches.
if you absolutely have to have the style and can't save up for something german, just get it. you'll just have to accept that you're not going to get the highest quality product.
rodina makes a watch that's bauhaus-styled but it has half of the numbers marked on the dial which you might not like.
if you do decide you want something more expensive, I'd recommend a junkers.

nah, it's actually one of the worse ones. child assembly and industrial manufacturing means that automatic watches can be assembled fairly cheaply. the watch itself would cost you about 50 dollars, and you'd be overpaying.
actual nice fakes start around $250 and have ETA clone movements.

That watch has an intended chronograph configuration but, since the movement is too cheap and simplr to even be converted into a chronograph it instead has a couple of more wheels to add a disconnected date and day modules operated with the pushers. for example, you could switch for a brown leather strap for the sand colored one and it would look gorgeous. same with beige colored multi-color nato straps. why? because the beige strap it comes with is the only one that's not as suitable for everyday wear imo. the real question is: is your skin more tan? then get the beige one. are you more pasty? black.

In terms of dial color, it depends on your preference but personally I'd get the beige one despite being pasty because black dials are really boring imo. But they might be a bit easier readable.

As far as flieger style dials go, the black dial seems more "correct", and most of my male friends told me that they prefer the black dial as well. But I don't really like that the background of the day and date wheels are black like the dial face. Hence I have been leaning towards the beige dial. I don't know if this is a bonus, but my sister and female friends all seem to prefer the beige dial.

But whichever one I get, I probably won't be changing the strap.

yeah, that's true. the Laco Fliegers and the Damasko D36 or Sekonda Flieger are all usually black as well.

it's just a very minor thing. again, you can read white on black easier than the other way round. when in doubt the blue one has white background for the date window. unless you hate blue.

Quartz isn't necessarily a bad idea. Most watch people (including myself) don't wear them because of several reasons.

Most faked watch in history, only time anyone wouldn't think it's fake is if the rest of your outfit/vehicle already makes you look well-off. Magnifier is correct, and date font is correct. The easiest way with a submariner is to look at the bezel insert, because only TC has gotten the correct finish on it. Hard to describe how to notice it, you just have to really know how a submariner looks.
I'd need a closer look at the datejust but it looks real from here.

The black coating is a little tacky and will quickly start to rub off and the bare shiny steel will show through and it'll look really awful. If you really really want all black you need to look for DLC coating which will probably cost a lot more.

As for water resistance I wouldn't swim with them, although it has a rubber ring on the inside which adds protection. Even though it says seamaster it's not the most water resistant watch. It can do rain and to be soaked for 5 meters. That's what my teacher said.
