Picked lalique encre noire a few weeks back. Zero regrets.

Sprays on way too intensely, but as the day goes by, it mellows into something pretty great, imo.

Anyone else also use Michael Kors? Smells sweet and mellow-y

tfw always wear nice fragrances but the single most complimented scent remains le male. too bad it became too common in like 2007 so I had to stop wearing it.

currently using dior intense which is fucking perfect in my opinion but haven't received nearly as many compliments as I thought I would.

I have Perry Ellis 360 Red and Versace Man eau Fraiche.

That's the classic Helmut fragrance and I love it. I don't think the reissue has caught on yet outside of big cities so it won't seem played out for a while.

Where do you live? If you're in NYC, check out Christopher Brosius's showroom for CB I Hate Perfume. His scents are more like sensory experiences than just fragrances. The showroom is a really awesome experience even if you're not buying anything.

Thoughts on Ralph Lauren? I got some RL blue as a gift and it sucks. Scent is kinda generic and it doesn't stick too long. Why is this stuff so popular? It's not like it's super cheap or anything.

I haven't bought YSL Nuit but have bought CH Men, yes, it's worth it.

I was disappointed at first, all I could smell was the fresh cut grass note, people were talking about leather and sugar which I wasn't getting at all.

Fast forward a week and everything is there, the sugary leather, it's pretty damn good. Tropical, youthful, sweet but in a good way, it's good, I would recommend it.
