It's the slav life. I have the exact same hair, color, hairline, thickness and all, but I still make it work.
Here's what I'm thinking

>get a good haircut
>use a lot of product (paste and mousse works best for our hair I've come to learn)
>stop using shampoo - only rinse hair with luke warm water
>go on rogaine/fina in the meantime. your hairline probably wont grow back but your hair will thicken the fuck out
