They have a different tongue (thatched web stuff underneath), the leather is regarded as 'premium' and it does feel much better than the normal cheap ones (black in pic attached).

The leather is noticeably different to the touch, and when wearing the black pair for the first few times they hurt my ankles a lot but the premium version was fine even with thin socks, much comfier.

I don't wear these much anymore though, probably giving the greens away and I just use the navy's as beaters.

Hey guys, Adidas have changed SS again this year (in Europe at least).

I went into Oi Polloi and they had the same shiny leather heel tab the Americuck version has but with the cream sole + better leather outer. It seems they've dropped the suede heel for this season of shoes.

I also checked on Oki-Ni and Mr Porter and it also looks like they don't stock the suede ones either.

These are Stans I tried on for all of 30 seconds at the store before buying them today. If I had a better camera, you could see the wrinkly leather even better, but this should do.

TBH I don't care that much like I said earlier, but it would be ridiculous to compare them to CPs.

CPs have some creases in the leather when they're brand new, but those will go away as you break them in. Obviously they don't have the gazillion tiny wrinkles like Adidas shoes do, just saying
