So I got tired of my hair and got something of an undercut.
The top could have been a bit shorter but all in all it's better than my previous haircut. Opinions and criticism is encouraged because if there's room to improve I will.

Yeah. I've been rocking the bowl cut all year, and I went to get a short back and sides, and they fucked it up. But basically, while my hair is growing out now.

Hey. Never really gave my appearence much thought, but recently have decided to start caring. Anyway, my current hair is just the result of not getting it cut for a long time and kinda spending a few minutes hand-combing it the way I want after a shower. I've been doin no poo since i was 9 years old, my skin would get itchy and sore due to the generic brands such has head and shoulders, and i just stopped bothering.

Level your sideburns, just give up on the beard you're trying to work with (it's also inadvertantly making your skin break out because it's holding dirt and grime), stop using a shiny product and switch to a matte gel or low-shine hold. Wash your hair in it's entirety (shampoo will actually help you get rid of the inferior product you've been using), let it air dry or use a blow dryer, and style it back for a change. It'll be a more clean cut look and you'll get a lot more reception on it, rather than negative feedback from your peers.

I have long hair that I tie in a manbun. A week ago I decided to cut a bit of my hair on my own, just the tips and etc. Everythin was alright except for a strand of hair right in front of my head that won't tie anymore. It dangles on my forehead like Superman's hair and I look like a douche. If I tie it really tight I can push it beneath the longer hair, but sometimes it get loose and not always I notice that it is out.

What can I do? Do I have to shave my head and lose my majesty? Is there a way for me to stick that strand to longer hairs and pretend it doesn't exist?

I can't cut the thing out alone because it would leave a hole right in front of my head.

Cut sides and back really short. Just go to a barber and ask for an undercut. You could get it blended towards the top, but I think you would look better with going short all the way on your sides and a bit of blending on the back. If you don't have a wide jaw, you will be surprised how it will make your face appear more masculine.

Also, get a matte hair product. Probably some kind of clay. Not sure where you are, but in the UK I used Muk. The product you're using right now makes your hair look a bit greasy.

Keep in mind that I'm not an expert, nor a barber. But I had hair similar to yours and doing these things really changed my look.
