I don't frequent /fa/ often but I need advice on getting a new bag for general travel around NYC. I was looking into the Isar Rucksack seeing the double compartment design works great for me but I'm curious if anyone had one for a long enough time to have a say on its durability and how well it keeps up.

I saw someone wearing one of those in real life and it looked as bad as that deal man ass creed shit on fb lmao don't bother if you don't want to look autistic in the /r9k/ way

this guy is dumb. it looks fine, but it can look odd if your fit doesn't match with it

I've had it for over a year now, and it's pretty durable. It's made out of some strong materials and the metal clasps last long too. It has kept its shape, and I've put a lot of books in it.

Thanks, is yours a medium or large? I tend to travel with textbooks, regular books, and my laptop on occasion. Coming from the main website the diameters for a large would seem to work on a guy like me with a bigger frame but maybe I'm underestimating it and it can look odd.

It looks great IRL, contrary to what many people who have never seen it say.I have a size large in black. It's the best designed backpack I've ever had.

I only realized a couple days ago that Cote Et Ciel was initially founded by Apple, and was a collaboration with Damir Doma.

honestly the large looks like ass in real life, they really deflate when they have nothing in them but normal carry will never make them look like they do in photos, you'd have to fill it with clothes or something not books and normal things. they just look saggy and unstructured and the top on the large pokes over your head. One of my most disappointing cops when i got it from the ssense sale and returned because i was so stoked on it. can't speak about the medium but the large is a definite dnc.

I bought one for Uni. just finished my first semester so i've used it everyday for a 2 or 3 months, So far there is no wear or tear at all. I got the one in your pic, medium because I was worried large would look freakish. Despite the room the compartments sometimes hinder what can fit in and if it is over filled it looks weird and bulbous but almost every time it's 10/10, would recommend.

People criticised me getting such an expensive bag just for uni but I have 0 real complaints and no one has said anything since they realised it was a great buy

Are you me? Had the exact same experience, but I bought it in large black. 10/10 Would recommend. However, it's hard to pull off. If your fits don't match, or your ugly, It'll look try hard af.

>Saw this azn manlet fuccboi at my school wearing one once.
> He was wearing a cheaper version of my fit (Iasar backpack , Alpha industries bomber, Skate Hi's).
>Clearly went to /fa/.
>Walked up saying sick fit. Complimented my Rafs and bomber

According to what i heard, they look pretty bad if not filled perfectly in order to keep the shape, and aren't really comfortable.

Nah, you can tighten it, when It's empty. I actually like it more when empty.

Are there any cheaper alternatives to the Isar backpacks?

Thinking about getting a Bree Punch rucksack

I have the medium and it is pretty spacious. I think the large would look too big tbh but I've only handled the medium.

>> No.9270161

i feel like a tote bag would be good for me
my only concern is that i would lack room for all of my stuff
i do not currently carry a laptop but its possible in future

someone post what it looks like filled and empty worn and not being worn pls

No

You mean like pic related?

>>9266692
Also note you have to unstrap the hood and open it to get at your stuff. The advantage is that your stuff is safe from pickpockets or falling out of your bag accidentally, but the disadvantage is that it takes a somewhat long time to open.

Backpack general?

Looking for something relatively small, i.e. fit a 13" laptop, not too bulky. Waterproof, simple. None of these shit buckles and disgusting lashing squares.
