I had my jaw moved forward nine days ago and the swelling is pretty much gone. Overall it's been a much better experience than getting my wisdom teeth out to be honest. The first day in hospital was awful, they shove a giant fucking painful tube up your nose to drain blood out in case you choke to death since my jaw was bound shut. I also had to have a catheter which was not pleasant at all but after that all got removed all I did was sleep at watch cricket until I was discharged.

The nerves in my chin haven't healed yet and it's probably going to take about 3 months or so till I get feeling and control back but it doesn't stop me from talking or anything so I don't really mind, it just feels a bit odd.
The splint that they stick to your upper teeth is a pain though, I need to have it on for another two weeks and it makes it hard to speak and impossible to chew food so I'm living off jelly and coffee right now.
The bruising is pretty bad though, my entire neck is covered in one giant bruise which looks pretty stupid but it doesn't really hurt so I don't give even the slightest shit about it.

I didn't really have a choice in getting the surgery but I'd recommend it to you guys, my experience has been pretty good

Aside from the obvious nose job he would have had braces for a large amount of time and then depending on is overbite his orthodontist may have done one of a couple things.

First is just general jaw training, if you force your overbite out by just letting your two front teeth sit on each other for long enough it will eventually become natural.

Second would have been a surgery where they would cut his mandibles somewhere in the middle (cut location varies depending patient) and then they would have put in two pieces of metal to move the jaw forward.

He also may have just grown into it but that is very very rare.

Over all this entire deal would have cost him about 23-27 grand from start to finish (nose job included).

it's not that big of a deal in terms of recovery compared to the other ones but since there's a vein that runs through the area so you lose feeling there for a while, some people never get it all back and end up with a few numb patches but it's kinda rare.

I got the same thing except my chest juts out instead of goes inward. Mine is uneven too so it fucks up my torso's symmetry and the whole ribcage structure is kind of fucked up. Just work out and build muscle until it isn't noticeable, that's what I did and it worked except for looking asymmetrical at certain angles because one of my pecs looks bigger than the other.

I'm willing to alter my nose shape somewhat, but I can understand what fillers may do though I hope it's minor.

My eyes are very large and almond shaped, I would be worried I'd look like an insect if I did heavy reconstructive surgery on my forehead by what you are describing haha

But I'm hesitant to do forehead work, I'd end up not looking like me and more like a young Iman which although isn't bad is not my face tbh

The nose thing you want will keep your eyes fine but make you look more masculine.

I broke my nose 14 years ago and the worst part is knowing that it's not meant to look so messed up. But already having slight anosmia (probably from when I initially broke it) is making me nervous.

It's basically like this:
As soon as you lie down, you can breathe half as well. When you sit up everything is completely normal with your breathing, but in bed one of your nostrils shuts down and you kind of wheeze through the other one. When you have a cold it's a million times worse.

I also have additional problems, such as frequent nose bleeds (yay summer), coughing due to nasal mucus but I'm not sure if that's due to this or something else, wheezing when I breathe lying down, etc. Of course OP may not have all of those as well, but it comes with the territory.
