That's a hard call, mostly because I don't have experience with Axel Arigato, but they look rather similar in quality. Both functional cup-sole sneakers with simple designs with good leather. Personally I would go with the Buddy ones, just because it feels a bit more substantial in design (taller / smaller throat, slightly thicker sole) and doesn't have any obvious branding. But, at this point I think it's purely preference.

Yeah I think it may just come down to preference.
I'll probably end up going with the Axel ones on account of them having free international shipping, for someone in NZ that would save me like 25%. And I can live with the small branding on the side.

Also I'm not at the point where I can add more out there items to my wardrobe, but damn do these marble versions make me hard and I'm not even sure why.
