high-waist pants or "trousers"

you will not be able to pull them off, I guarantee it

i find it odd that everyone points out that they are "high-waisted" they really don't seem that high to me especially when you watch the movie and see his outfits as a whole.

they really don't look like something that would be necessarily "hard" to pull off (like pic related). i feel like they would maybe draw someone's attention for half a second and then be dismissed as a personal quirk or a style choice.
i believe that it is because of how slim they are

if that makes any sense

then again /fa/ does tend to know best.....

Opening Ceremony collaborated on the design of the clothing in Her & they sold pieces inspired by the movie last season.

but does it really ruin the fit though?

i tend to look at outfits as a whole and try to visualize what they would look like irl.

After all it is incredibly easy to find faults in a photograph

whoops, allow me to be clear, i definitely enjoy his fits he is probably the closest to how i envision myself dressing in the near future.

................but back to my original post..............................

does anyone know where i can find high wasted/rise straight/slim fit trousers ?

i've been searching since i created this thread a few hours ago and haven't had any luck at all.

for some reason "regular" or "low" rise pants don't fit very comfortably for me. they hug my groin area and feel in general very constricting. even when i size up on the waist the problem remains though not as terrible but it ends up looking sloppy and i have to wear a belt which i don't like

im surprised its taken me this long to realize that not every man was walking around in pants feeling uncomfortable

for reference i'm a little over 6 feet and 150lb 31x34 ottermode build

>>9229622
these pants would be perfect but they are sold out.

That seems to be a slim straight maybe. For reference a 514 or 513 in Levi's jeans. Tighter thigh knee down is straight and mid rise is on the picture.

My suggestion is buy slim straight if you are a bigger guy 180-250 pounds. 34 waist and above. It can look really weird on a very slim person unless you wear boots which brings those types of pants together.

>> No.9232136

>>9231487
im around 6'1 and 150 lb's not even "big" i would say ottermode

i actually own a pair of levi's 513's and i like the fit but i have the same problem with them as i do with every other pant

if i wear them at the waist the crotch is too tight. that's why i'm looking for some pants that have a high rise as i think that would solve my problem.

>>i have an ass and a decent sized "package" so slim fit/skinny chino's don't really work for me
Bullshit myth. Usually they're only slimmer in the legs. I have lots of skinny chinos and jeans and they still have plenty of ass and dick space.

>in b4 tiny dick and flat ass
I'm alright.
