Anyone else growing out their hair for a man bun? My fringe is about 3 and a half inches long right now how long until I can tie it, with the length of around 6 inches? Does anyone atm have one, how long did it take them?

6 inches might be enough for your fringe to reach the back of your head but you have to remember you need even more hair than that to actually tie it up, like around 8 - 10 inches at least. You've probably got another year or more before you can get a bun

I've been growing out my hair since april, so it's about 8 months of growth at this point and I still can't bun it

I got an HY sort of deal so the top was only cut to about 2 or 3 inches and the sides were shaved close. The top kind of works but looks fucking stupid with the sides not long enough

I have been growing my hair out for about a year and half, with one cut in the interim. I am just now able to put it in a bun, working with ~10-12 inches, longest at the front. It takes a while to be able to tie the front most hairs back, unless your head is shaped like an eggplant
