Don't go all out on buying a full wardrobe. Start with copping the occasional mid-high quality basic then build your wardrobe from there. As for finding a style you like that you can build towards, just start lurk /fa/ a couple of weeks and pay attention to inspo threads and you'll eventually find an aesthetic you are into.

Also, I'm assuming you're new if you are asking this so just remember that people here are very harsh and not to take everything here so seriously.

Well anyways. Here is my advise. I went from total slob, (Broken vans, relaxed faded levis, unfitting tees) to a well dressed fuccboi in a copuple of months.

First of all, you are going to see a lot, the question: Is this effay?
Manly because style doesn't goes right into you through the clothes. You must have a fashionable exterior and a fashionable lifestyle as well

But first concentrate on the pre-basic stuff.
aka: what any man no matter how fat or ugly should wear.

Unfaded slim/straight blue and black denim - Cheap Monday
crewneck slim fitting plain tee Black/white/navy/brown/whine - jcrew, uniqlo,
Knit plain pullovers grey/cream/white - jcrew, American Apparel,
Plain oxford dress shirts- uniqlo, Topman
A nice belt, A nice wallet, A nice watch, a nice cellphone (check the catalog or fuccboi general for any of these)

At this point don't follow any kind of trend no matter how safe it looks,

Buy some quality shoes, dress boots, minimalist trainers. and a pair of dress shoes.

you can very easily make a big head start with forgiving basic clothes from a store such as uniqlo

its cheap enough that it allows you to grab a variety of things and the quality is reasonable, furthermore its hard to screw up if you have some idea of what you're doing

basic advice is to lurk threads such as the cop or not thread, fuccboi general, cringe thread etc
dont lurk style-specific threads (such as the techwear general, scumwave general)

be prepared to spend money but spend it smartly so you wont have to rebuy basics
