I love the prep aesthetic, especially since I'm making an attempt to get into the banking sector but I also love the black urban goof ninja look with the draping and minimalist design and color.

As for the other part of your question, just make sure ALL of your clothes fit. They should be form fitting but not tight. Make sure you tuck in your dress shirt, but not the sweater. Cashmere isn't really prep because it's not rugged enough, same goes for merino wool, they're both too dressy and refined,plus honestly the texture is not very interesting. Shetland and lamnbswool are my favorite
