36 slim? There's 36S (short) and 36R (there's L and XL, but no one really makes those).

Anyway, most places carry a 36S/R in stock or at least make them. Really, if you just want a cheap blazer you don't care about, you can pick one up.

If you actually want to wear something nice, you wouldn't get H&M. If you want a cheap blazer, Uniqlo may be better since their style is less trendy.

you need more than just jeans (2 pairs black, 1 blue at least), get some chinos (khaki, beige, light beige, off-white, blue, maroon) (Uniqlo)

SLIM FIT, skinny on some if you can pull it off

Yep, although it'd be nice to know what you plan to tailor, a jacket, shirt, pants, it could be anything. But let's assume its a suit since that can cover jacket, pants, and kind of shirt since it is similar to a jacket in dealing with your torso.

Step One: Taper the waist. Always. make your suit fit you slim, assuming you have a decent body, which we should always assume since's that is a step you take before dealing with fashion.

Step Two: slim the pants. Slim pants make a decent suit look great and modern, always. I go super slim but you don't need to, just nothing baggy.

Step three: Make sure the shoulders fit I guess, I don't really know, I've never needed to tailor shoulders and as a side note, no padded shoulders please.

Step four, make sure the sleeves aren't so long they don't let you see any of your shirt at the wrist, if you don't get what i mean look up pictures of models in suits, you can see the shirt at the wrists.

Step five: have the pants break at the top of your shoes.

Steps one and two are really the important ones, and ignore the rest if you aren't getting a suit. If you do step one and two, you should look great.

Levi's aren't too expensive if you don't buy them @ their online store like a sucker, check out outlets or even ebay I guess, and Levi's are classic America jeans, they aren't exactly a fashion house, and can't beat sizably higher priced jeans for the range they're great. Other than that, I've never worn H & M jeans but taking from your comment that you're new, people usually recommend H&M and Uniqlo for cheap essentials, so check them out for any of that, and they are really cheap, so just keep in mind to check those two stores out for any essentials.

Depends on what you're getting tailored. If it's a shirt/jacket/blazer etc. say you want it tailored to fit your body well.

>>8985696
sub $100- Uniqlo, Unbranded, second-hand N&F, Levis if in the US
$100-$300- APC, Acne, 3sixteen, Rogue Territory
$300+- Flat Head, Momotaro, PBJ, SLP.
As for what to get, depends on your size.

>>8982911
imo it depends with what you're wearing up top. However if it's super skinny then stick to chelsea boots

I had a Uniqlo mountain parka that was decent for the price. I live in NYC and it was a pretty decent outer layer.

>>8981699
a pair of dress shoes (1 black 1 brown), a well fitted suit, casual sneakers, casual boots, a few buttonups. Shit like that. Check the sticky

>>8981492
Its ok to match with your shirt if they're white and your bottoms are black (usually), but if the shoes are blue and so is your shirt, it's a bad idea (same for red, yellow etc.). Don't match your belt and shoe color unless they're black and your bottoms are black.

In my experience it's because we wear them alot, Plus, if you have enough money for designer/higher end cops, it's not really a big deal because they can be replaced, therefore we don't "care" about them as much when compared to someone who is living life check to check. Also, some of us like a certain shoe wayyy more than other so we wear them more. Just saying.

Hi, I just got the Uniqlo selvedge. I'm not a fade person, but I'm curious if I wear them a bit before washing, if they'll loosen in the right places, and form to by legs better than if I just wash them straight away.

Sincerely,
Fuccboi

does proactive work?

>> No.8987006

>>8986887
Okay, so here's my experience with Proactive:
My parents bought it for me (They bought it when it was just beginning to be marketed heavily, I was 17 at the time and had a shitload of acne). I figured it was just some fake shit to sell to typical panicked teenagers, but I tried it.
About 15 days into doing it on and off, I didn't really have acne anymore. I was pretty surprised at how effective it was since I'd been rationing the amount in order to save money for another X-day set in case it didn't work to make sure it really didn't work. So naturally being the dumb teenager that i was, since my problem was solved I figured I didn't have to continue to use the product.
The first day of not using the product was odd. My skin was itchy, but regardless acne-free. Over the next week i started to get a small amount of the acne i had back, but the main problem was the RIDICULOUS amount of burning and irritation on my face and neck. For about two weeks my face and neck were bright red and it burned about as bad as shaving with an electric razor and then putting cologne on afterwards. I have heard from others that it worked miracles for them, and no negative side effects from their part.
TL;DR: It DOES work, but effectiveness varies and it can cause unwanted side effects.
