Pretty surprised everthing seems to be quite expensive compared to previous collaborations.

There are some solid basics that aren't impressive by any means, but will sell like fire.

I'm sure some H&M "creatives" had some input, it is a collaboration after all. It could explain all that branding.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wang himself didn't contribute much other than a few nods towards some of his signature aesthetics.

All that aside, the collection is weak.
And I love that the beanie literally marks you as a dick head.

the idea of a high designer collaborating with more basic and cheaper brands is a great idea, but it's been executed so poorly
this, just as the plokhov x uniqlo collection, are just boring as fuck and only get attention because of the name attached to it, a stigma I think many designers usually rise above

I think the branding placement is ok but I'd definitely go handle it in person before buying. If it's priced more than a jansport don't cop. Personally,I only buy backpacks from companies actually centred around making backpacks. It's an item I use everyday. I wouldn't even buy something like a visvim or undercover backpack because I don't think they'd match the price/quality ratio. Also fashion backpacks is a really lame concept as is.
