For the past few weeks I've been trying to avoid using poo and I'm really satisfied with the results, but do you still use hair products like wax or pomade on your hair? Might be hard to wash out without any poo.

However, if I'm not using it, my hair's losing its shape during the day quite fast.

Generally I don't use any product. But when my hair is fucked up and I have no time, I use some to style it. Also when I am going on a date or somewhere important. Product really is the finish like it's advertised, but I don't need finish every day for work/uni so only for special occasions. My hair thanks me for that.

My question's only related to no poo, but I'll give it a shot nevertheless:

When no pooing, what do you do when going to the hair dresser? To you tell them that you're having a no poo dogma? Or will your hair be able to deal with the shit they do at the hair salon every now and then?

I haven't shampooed in a long while and I have no problem washing any products out of my hair.

You just wash it with water. Don't just put your head under for a second. You have to hold your head UNDER the shower of water for a matter of minutes and work the water all about your hair. If you can't figure out how to do that then you don't deserve to have hair.
