Last thread was pretty good.

Saw some newish Fall drops lately, specifically this:

http://www.uniqlo.com/us/product/men-light-comfort-soutien-collar-coat-131568.html#09|/men/featured/new-arrivals/outerwear/|

Anyone tried it yet? Looks kinda nice online but maybe bad IRL.

Online or at the store? Flannels are one of their most popular items so I'd think they'd restock them. But then again their online store is notorious for being really bad at having stock.

Thinking of copping this flannel. Their flannel are light and good for the price and fit me pretty well, so I kinda wanna cop this (being my 3rd flannel from them) since I'm also gonna cop a Pure Blue Sweatshirt from them.

>>8841296
Have you ever bought one? Are they any good? I've been wanting to get into wearing cord lately since it looks comfy but Uniqlo isn't my first choice for most warm things.
>>8841318
You are probably good at a medium. If not, 8 bucks for a return and it ain't really a bad deal. Their sizing charts are USUALLY pretty tts.

Probably just lighter. I'd be more concerned about it being almost like a fleece material over anything, since a lot of their other stuff is thin. I'm sure sizing is relatively the same

It honestly depends.

My rule of thumb is; the cheeper it is, the larger it *usually* runs.

e.g.
5 bux shirts, and some long sleeve shirts, tend to fit better a size down. But they're boxy as hell anyways.
Every other shirt over $10, like the supima or OBD, are pretty true to size.
I got my mountain parka a size down, medium was a little too lose for my taste, and I can still wear 2-3 layers and it's not tight at all.
Other jackets are usually fine. No clue about their sweaters, you should honestly just try on jackets and sweaters because they're either to big or fits fine.

I'm 5'10" as well, as long as you're not fat you should be okay with medium everything.

the fact that is has always been a place where you can dress like a dad as advertised means nothing (unless that is something that does mean something to you and you can no longer give it your business?)

Do the wool pants seem worth it, or should I just order something from J.Crew since I'd have to get the Uniqlo ones hemmed myself.

How slim is the dress shirt compared to something like their oxfords?

For the most part, J.Crew's stuff fits me well as a hungry skelly if I get it in slim, but I don't really care for buying anything above basics from Uniqlo.

>> No.8855656

>>8855618
I don't have any experience with J.Crew (Europe).

The wool pants are probably worth the money if €60 is all you have to spend on wool pants. Fabric was alright, but they're pretty thin and don't have much weight.
I tried on the regular fit shirt, forgot there was a slim fit, sorry.

Hey Britbongs who saw the +J collection,
anybody try the premium down parka they have? I really love the look of it in navy, but I'm afraid it is gonna be Uniqlo quality still and so the down will all be awful and it'll fall apart insanely quick and won't keep me warm. I need a big bad weather jacket, and I've always appreciated the style.

>> No.8855690

>>8855656
No worries about it, I was just curious about the feel of the pants I know no J.Crew in Euro.
Anyways, they sound alright if you can grab them in store for tailoring, but since most Uniqlo pants only come in 34 inseam, no point in me dropping the money and then the extra for tailoring them. Thanks for the heads up anon.
