When I didn't have it in safety braids I didn't wash my hair for a long time. It was pretty much the same except it was a little more greasy.

We have different hair, since our hair drys out due to coils it doesn't get greasy. You shouldn't really wash it as much as white ppl anyway

If I were u I would just give it a try. If you currently have the same hair length as >>8836259 it should prolly grow back rather quickly.

I think 'brown guy HY' as you described it can look good (currently what I'm working towards), as long as you have the right face and make sure it looks natural (no overuse of product).
