2) TRENCH coats tend to be bad because of how out of place they are. They aren't a streetwear piece in modern day context. They go better with a biz-caz type of style.

Because it's menswear, and as such, /fa/ now hates it. While it's true that a ton of neckbeards wear them, the majority of people wearing them are just normal professionals. Those people don't usually visit 4chan.

Just make sure your coat fits at the shoulders, has a decent taper, and leaves you enough room for a jacket underneath.
