Hey /fa/ is there a name for this type of asian style jacket? I'd like to get one, but something not cheap as shit. Are there any respectable brands that make this sort of thing?

This is not a particular style of jacket. The basis is a motorcycle jacket (note the double-breasted closure with the off-center zip), but it's been very heavily tweaked. The chest pockets also reference Perfecto styling, but not exactly. The large funnel neck just looks poorly executed, but it is a funnel neck nonetheless.

Unless a brand is really good at it, it's always a bad idea to purchase really elaborately patterned styles in fabrics like jersey or fleece because the knit fabric shows ALL the work. It'll drape and pucker and sag and every shoddy seam and poorly-picked notion and badly proportioned pattern piece will be very obvious as it is here.

If you like the IDEA of interesting fleece/sweat garments, there are tons of brands that work very heavily with sportswear fabrics, but in a deliberately fashion-oriented way, like T by Alexander Wang, Reigning Champ, Y-3, Helmut Lang (under Plokhov), and tons of the Korean contemporary lines.

The only problems with these cheap shitty jackets are the shit construction and shit fit. Also the really large amount of zippers fucking everywhere.
