Depends on your cold tolerance. Faux-shearling isn't as warm as the genuine article, and probably won't block the wind all that well. The poly shell is probably water resistant but not waterproof unless you spray some waterproof coating on it yourself.

That being said, you can get by if you layer properly (Toronto here). I've survived a whole winter wearing a wool Penfield Kasson, and the lining on that is prettty thin for a f/w jacket.

Remember that there were thought to be wear over an uniform and gear, back in the time I had S and it fitted like M/L, so if you wear regular XS sized clothes you will drown in this parka. And you'll probably have to mod the cuffs, since original cuffs are just thin rubber and fit like shit. And the pockets are fakes, they're just holes.
