What is the consensus on uniqlo parkas? I'm thinking about copping navy for the fall/winter. I live in Pennsylvania, so it can get pretty cold, depending on how harsh the winter gets. I have this in green. It's pretty decent for $60. My only problems with it is that it has a tad of that synthetic sheen (not too noticeable) and it's thin as hell. It's really only an outer layer. Also he's right about it maybe being shiny. Some of the pictures of the uniqlo parkas make them look like they have a matte finish or whatever, but they do have that sheen.

Again though, for like £40 the one I got is great and I wear it all the time.

I'm sure it depends on the fit (weird guy vs. whatever silhouettes they have). I bought a pair of skinny guys in a 32 thinking they were TTS only to find out I should have sized down a size or two. Still uncertain as to whether or not they were sanforized or unsanforized (shrink to fit). My pair were definitely loose on me but over the span of 2 years they really mold to your body and take on the form of a "second skin." No hes not talking about personal experience. it's just a clusterfuck from fa to hate allsaints. if it's not rick or slp then they call it all shit quality. 99% of fa lives nowhere near an allsaints store, all they have is mall jeans levi 511, have never seen them. they piss themselves over the chance to buy used cps god damn it.

all saints is not bad at all. the difference between allsaints and slp is that allsaints is purposefully distressed, including their denim and shirts. they do this by having the crumpled look. in fact, when jeans and leathers are shipped to the store, they are in a ball as opposed to folded.
slp would never do this. the leather is very sleek and the jeans are almost 2d. if it is distressed there slashes in jeans but that's it.
the reason i am saving for a slp jacket over an allsaints is because i prefer the sleek look.
if you are not ocd about ironing and like the distressed look, by all means buy the allsaints bc it's a good jacket.
there is not a lot of difference in quality between slp and allsaints. there is some but it's big not like the difference between hm and allsaints. fa compares hm to allsaints all the time and this is just facetious shit throwing, because fa cant tell the difference btw purposefully distressed and actually wrinking because bad fabric.
slp leather and allsaints jackets are both made out of lambskin, which is a soft, smooth leather which doesn't really have a grain. while slp leather jackets will be heavily interfaced and shined to give them the thick, sleek look that won't wrinkle, allsaints on the flipside are heavily washed, distressed, burnished etc.
it's just a different aesthetic.

tl;dr /fa/ is hive mentality, has never seen pieces in person, doesn't even know how to inspect quality, perpetuates rumors to feel knowledgeable, 99% would not drop a stack on a leather either
