Speaking as a relatively dadcore guy, I'd say because it's relatively safe, it can be pretty boring. (Just like the dudes who wear them.) Also if the fit is wrong, it really makes you look like you're doomed to a corner cubicle for life. Then again, bad fit ruins everything no matter what.

If you're going to go dadcore, it helps to have something interesting or high quality that stands out. Gotta stand out somehow.
