Condos are all uniform and boring nowadays.

My new neighbourhood (new buildings) costs $1000 more per month and has no soul, no local businesses, no real infrastructure (streetcars, buses, subways never come) and everything is shiny glass. NH has no sales tax, and since it is so small and fairly independent, it's efficient when it comes to state spending. Also one of the lowest unemployment rates in the us. It's predominantly white middle class, but there is a lot of money here. You can live fairly well of of the salary I make.

Is used to live in Brooklyn, LI, and west chest county in ny. I paid $1000+ for a one bedroom! and a tiny closet bathroom and kitchen. It was the cheapest I could afford and it was terrible. I love living here, plus there are no gun laws really, fireworks are legal, and the liquor store is state run. Booze is cheap and a stellar collection at the. But shit business hours and you can't import liquor or wine.

Rambling, but basically you can find a great place here for decent money. And I recommend it.
